Well you love the characters in both of the games, you love being new to the town and working your way up, but how does this work in a movie?
The movie, which came out one year ago, featured many of the characters from the game itself. It wasn't very known, but I will share it with you all who love this game.
The movie which can be found by clicking this link here will bring you to the official website. The movie was released December 16 2006, but it was in Japan. Which is why barely anyone in America even heard about this movie.
The plot is just like in the games, a girl named Ai moves into a new town, get's a job, tries to pay off her house, but one day at the beach she finds a message in a bottle that reads 'A miracle will occur the night of the Snow Festival'..." and so the story continues on.
Go to the website for more information ofrclick the article link for more information. With this you can also view parts of the movie on Youtube.com.

Animal Crossing (Dōbutsu no Mori lit. Animal Forest) is an anime film based on the Nintendo video game series of the same name. The director is Jouji Shimura who has worked previously on Master Keaton and Shin Angyo Joshi. It will retain the themes of the video game, in which a villager moves to a town and interacts with the animal villagers. It opened in theaters in Japan on December 16, 2006. Release dates for other countries have not yet been announced[1].
The confirmed characters are Ai (Female Character) along with Kapp'n, Tom Nook, Pascal, Mabel and Sable Able, Mr. Resetti, Tortimer, K.K. Slider, Brewster, Blathers, Celeste, Apollo, Margie, Alfonso, Rosie, Whitney, Hopper, Saruo (Monkey), as well as a young human boy who loves to cosplay and collecting bugs and treasures.
By watching the trailer, it appears that the film is widely based on Animal Crossing: Wild World.
On page 97 of Nintendo Power Issue 209 (November 2006) the following promotion by Nintendo Power magazine was announced: "Each Friday, Nintendo sends a letter with an attached item to all residents of Animal Crossing: Wild World; all you have to do to receive it is connect to Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection. All of Nintendo Power's promotional giveaway items were also given out through Nintendo's Wi-Fi service. To get these items all you need to do is connect to Nintendo's Wi-Fi service on the day of the giveaway. Which is every Friday.
Nintendo admits that a botched attempt to deliver a special item to players of Animal Crossing: Wild World via the Nintendo WiFi Connection is leaving many of them at risk of inconveniencing (not necessarily corrupting) their game files. Players identified a problem affecting the game last week when they opted to receive a "Red Tulip" item from Nintendo through wireless download on January 26th. Once the tulips are used (planted) in your avatar's living room, they can no longer be interacted with as a normal item, "plaguing" the game to a certain extent. Using them outdoors does not appear to create similiar problems.
Partial blame was initially placed by players on a possible hacker or virus attack, taking advantage of new security risks involving friend codes. Nintendo however has denied any sort of security breach this time around, instead accepting responsibility for creating the problem through a botched upload process on their part:
"Nintendo would like to thank its numerous Animal Crossing: Wild World fans for helping identify and correct an unforeseen issue with the game. Some users of the community-simulation game for Nintendo DS noticed that receiving a letter containing a 'Red Tulip' could cause interference with gameplay," Nintendo said in an official statement issued to the press.
"We have isolated the problem and determined that there was a temporary error with the upload tool when this letter was posted. Thankfully we have been able to limit the number of people affected by removing the related file from circulation. Players who have received the letter should delete it before placing the Red Tulip anywhere in their characters' homes."
In other words, the tulips themselves do not cause problems until used in-game. This news is cold comfort to those already affected by the tulip tomfoolery, but in Nintendo's defense, the company is also working to find a fix for them. Concerned players should check with Nintendo's WiFi FAQ for further updates.
There is only 11 days until AC: WW comes out for North America, but yesterday AC: WW was released in Japan. So you know what that means, we should be getting all sorts of new information on the game as time progresses!
A new trailer was released that basically sums up what the game is all about. It shows you how wi-fi will be used, the beginning of the game, and more!
As IGN reports, they played Animal Crossing: Wild World for only 15 minutes, but that wasn't even close to enough. The game took on the form of the previous game, but with a ton of new features.
Nintendo has released it's official website for Wifi connections. The site also includes a section dedicated to Animal Crossing Wild World. A new section will be made in this portal all over the subject of Wifi after Animal Crossing Wild World is released in December.
Well it is finally here, the Japanese website for Animal Crossing Wild World. Since this website is in Japanese it might be hard to read some of the content. So if you have an ability to transfer languages in your internet browser then do that.
Nintendo has confirmed that the online functions of Animal Crossing: Wild World will cost nothing to use - or at least, not directly, anyway...
Other upcoming titles to use this technology include Metroid Prime Hunters: First Hunt and Mario Kart DS. North American players, however, may have to pay a fair price to purchase an adapter to use these functions correctly, and these are expected to cost around $58 in the United States of America. Strangely enough, these adapters are actually expected to cost less in Europe and Japan, probably due to the cheaper Internet capabilities. The projected price in Great Britain is between £24.99 ($44.00) and £29.99 ($52.81), and the projected price for other European countries is between E39.99 ($48.45) and E44.99 ($54.50). Other than these prices, however, the functions should be entirely free.
We all called it Animal Crossing DS, but now it has a new name, which is Animal Crossing Wild World.
The game is a sequel to the smash hit Animal Crossing which was released in North American in 2003 and eventually released in Europe in late 2004, in AC Wild World you do basic chores, live your life, but with some brand new twists and surprises.
There were various new features added to the game such as an extra story to the Department Store and more buildings such as a beauty shop were added. The top screen is now confirmed to be the sky, where you can pop balloons and shoot the mail carrier down.
Well, it had to happen, didn't it? Another brilliant Nintendo move for Europe.
Feast your eyes on the European Release Dates on the page Linked to below. Specifically, look at the Nintendo DS Section. Do you notice something which is missing, yet we have been practically promised for months would be there? Yes, Animal Crossing DS.
The European Release Date of Nintendo's first attempt at a World-Wide Life-Simulator Game has been delayed in Europe; and the worst of it is that no news of a delay in North America has been confirmed. This means that North American players are going to have a massively unfair advantage by the time the game is released in Europe.
This game is on-course for taking a paraphrased version of the near-fatal route which the Nintendo DS itself took, being released in North America in November 2004 and being released in Europe four months later in March 2005; that alone was the inspiration behind thousands of complaints to Nintendo.
So, as speculation - is Nintendo going to do what they did in the two years which it took for Animal Crossing to arrive in Europe after its North American Release Date and strip the game of half of its features? I am not ruling out the possibility.
