April Fool's Day is an event that takes place during the beginning of April. On this day you can receive a special prize and also be pranked by the villagers and Tortimer.

During this event the villagers in your town will play silly pranks on you. If you talk to a villager they may something like, "90% at Nooks." But don't forget, it's all a prank!

On this holiday, if you go down neat the Wishing Well, you should see Tortimer standing there. Aside from his joking and saying that he only kids, Tortimer has a little gift for you. He gives you a "Super Tortimer" that you can play on the NES. There's only one problem - it's a fake!

On April 1st if you visit Tortimer at the Town Hall he will give you a special item called a 'leaf'. The leaf is a prank item that resembles a furniture icon. When you place it in your home it will act as a furniture item and you can move it back and forth, and also twist it around.
