Animal Crossing: City Folk

Avery (Japanese name: クスケチャ, Kusukecha) is a Cranky Eagle Villager who made his very first appearance in Animal Forest e+ and then reappeared much later in Animal Crossing: City Folk, skipping two entire installments in Animal Crossing (GCN) and Animal Crossing: Wild World.
Despite his Crankiness, Avery can be a rather mischeivous individual, often finding pleasure in pulling pranks on other residents such as Pitfall Seed traps as well as spreading unsavoury gossip about someone from time to time. When first met, he can seem rather abrupt and unapproachable, but enough trusting quality time with this Villager will eventually change his outlook and he'll become a good friend to the Player. Avery only partakes in one of the three preset hobbies: Fossil-Hunting, along with collecting certain amusing furniture sets in which he might happen upon.
Avery is a dark brown and light grey eagle with wide, vacant eyes and a long, feathery collar. The light grey colour in his feathers make up a form of aboriginal-like design all across his body, while the Uncommon Shirt he moves into Town with blending with this look well.
 Name Meaning
Avery's name comes from the word, "Avairy". That is a place where many birds are kept.
- Avery's catchphrase, "skree-haw", is a sound that birds of prey (such as eagles) typically make.
