Bob (Japanese name: ニコバン, Nikoban) is a Lazy, Cat Villager who has appeared in all four recent Animal Crossing installments to date: Animal Crossing (GCN), Animal Crossing: Wild World, Animal Crossing: City Folk, and Animal Crossing: New Leaf.

[edit] Personality

Bob has an overall laid-back nature which makes him easy to make friends with at first meeting. His two great passions in life are taking it easy and eating all of his favourite foods however frequently he desires. He partakes in the standard hobbies, such as Fishing for the sake of food and Bug-Catching for the sake of simplistic relaxation. Bob's lovingly lax attitude makes him brush off well against Normal villagers and the slow-going Cranky villagers, but the Jock villagers won't be able to stand him due to his gross inactivity. The Snooty villagers will also become bewildered by his overall lack of even the simplest fashion sense and turn him away.

[edit] Appearance

Bob's fur contains two different shades of purple: dark and light. Most of it is made up of the lighter portion while the darker portions make up large spots which dot the length of his body. He has large eyes set in a relaxed, neutral expression overtop of a mouth sporting a self-satisfied smirk.

[edit] Name Meaning

As simple and easygoing as the villager who sports the name, "Bob" is a near perfect fit for a Lazy villager such as this one, even though it doesn't cleverly pertain to his respective species whatsoever.

A bobcat is a mammal found in North America.
