Bunny Day is an original Animal Crossing: City Folk holiday that takes place on Easter Day. Zipper T. Bunny is the character that handles this event. It's a day of fun where you can dig up eggs and get prizes for what's in them!

When does it happen?
This event takes place on Easter Day every year. Zipper T. Bunny will come early in the morning and leave in the late evening.
Zipper T. Bunny
Zipper T. Bunny will be standing out on the Town Hall plaza. Zipper will be out dancing (more like swaying back and forth) and when you get within a close range of him, his special Bunny Day music will start to play. Talk to Zipper T. Bunny and he will sing you a little song to get you in the mood of the holiday. He will then proceed to tell you that he has hidden thirty bunny eggs around the town and your job is to find them for him so he can have the goodies all to himself. He won't forget about you, though, and will give you a little something something for your efforts.
Hunting for Eggs
You have thirty eggs to find, so you better get started! Get out your shovel and walk around town seeking out any star-shaped cracks on the way. You will find an egg that is multi-colored and when you dig it up you will get the message:
"Look at that!
I dug up a Bunny Egg!"
Some eggs will be very difficult to find. Make sure to keep count so you know how many more you need or if you're already done to ensure that you're not looking for nothing at all. If you absolutely cannot find the remaining eggs, you can save and quit the game, reload it, and the remaining eggs will be set in different places.
Cracking open eggs
To crack open an egg and see what is inside, you must simply go to your pockets menu and click on the egg. Choose the option "Open" and the egg will turn into whatever was inside of it. These are the items that you may receive inside of a bunny egg:
- Candy
- Bunny Foil
- Rotten Egg
You should keep the candy for yourself and save it for Halloween or the Festivale, where you will need it the most. It will save you a lot of stress and save your from running around more. For the bunny foil, you should have it over to Zipper T. Bunny because that is what he is seeking. In return, Zipper will give you a piece of furniture from the Egg Series. You can get the whole set from him. If you get a rotten egg, throw it away. It is useless and if you give it to Zipper T. Bunny he will be enraged with anger because of your carelessness.
Furniture Set
The furniture set is called the Egg Series. You obtain all of it by handing Zipper T. Bunny bunny foils on Easter Day. You can get duplicates, so watch out!
