This is a list of holidays and events for the Animal Crossing: Wild World that occur every year.
January
1st: New Year's Day- Talk to the mayor in town square and he will give you a fortune.
2nd: Be Nice to Nook Day- This is a general holiday that is not actually celebrated by the mayor.
13th: La-Di-Day- Animals will sing all day. The song is usually your Town Theme Song.
21st: Fishing Tourney- 12:00pm-6:00pm; Catch the biggest fish in your town to win a prize!
28th: Yay Day-The animals will compliment you, and using the keyboard on the DS, you can compliment them back.
February
3rd: Flea Market- Go to each of the animals houses to buy some of their furniture from them at bargain prices.
5th-11th: Bright Nights- This is mainly a competition between your neighbors. You get to look at all the lights they decorate with and then you tell Tortimer who the winner will be.
14th: Valentine's Day- Not actually celebrated, but it's a holiday.
25th: Fishing Tourney- 12:00pm-6:00pm; Catch the biggest fish in your town to win a prize!
March
3rd: Flea Market- Go to each of the animals houses to buy some of their furniture from them at bargain prices.
