[edit] How to Catch

The Centipede is a very easy bug to catch, but a very rare bug to find. These bugs will only appear, occasionally, after hitting a rock with your shovel. If the bug does come out, get your net out and catch it. It's movement is slow, and it doesn't disappear for awhile.

[edit] Player

This is what you player says when you catch an Centipede:

[edit] Animal Crossing: City Folk

It's got a million legs! Or, you know, a hundred

[edit] Menu

When looking at the Centipede in the bug menu it will say this:

[edit] Animal Crossing: City Folk

Very few of these actually have more than 100 legs. They have nasty bites.

[edit] Museum

If you donate this bug to the Museum, Blathers will say this:

[edit] Animal Crossing: City Folk

Indeed, centipedes are quite fast to boot, wot? If the beast attacks us, how will we flee to safety? Moreover, they have hard shells, so we can't stop it with a furious stomping... We're doomed!

[edit] Trivia

[edit] Real Life

Despite what people think, Centipedes aren't actually insects. They can be highly vemonous, especially if they are found in the Amazonian Forest. Centipedes feed on insects such as moths and beetles.
