Cesar is an orange and dark brown-black gorilla. His facial hair style is known as the handlebar mustache which is also a brown-black colour. Like most gorillas, his figure seems rather masculine. His clothing changed in newer generations of the Animal Crossing games, originally he wore the two-ball shirt but was soon replaced by the A shirt.
Cesar is a cranky villager so will often be rude and very negative. He will find it difficult to socialise with other villagers, including other cranky villagers. The name Cesar most likely refers to Cesar considering himself royalty. Cesar is the French, Spanish, and Portugese form of Caesar, a title for the royal rules of Rome in ancient times. The word Caesar, which means Hair in Latin might refer to his hairy figure.
