Daisy is an overall tender and reserved resident, with her Normal personality making her appear quite shy around others and she can tend to be rather quiet at times, even if she has a lot on her mind. With this rather sensitive mindset, it isn't hard to hurt Daisy's feelings or make her feel uncomfortable in situations where it's not intended. When all of that is overlooked, Daisy is a very caring and tolerant villager, as is proved by the fact that she always commends your Player's speedy delivery of mailed gifts even if it actually took far longer than the deadline time she originally specified. This in itself can make Daisy appear quite naive and spaced-out, but she's only too calm and innocent at heart. As a very early riser, Daisy promptly wakes up at 5:00 am each morning in order to walk about the Town before the next official day(game-wise)begins at 6:00 am. She typically takes time to tidy up her house and rearrange her furniture during the early-late afternoon hours. Fishing, bug-catching, finding fossils, and planting flowers are all on this villager's list in terms of the usual daily hobbies. As a special in-game feature exclusive to Animal Crossing: Wild World for the Nintendo DS, Daisy eventually gives the gift of a self portrait to your Player after you've engaged in a certain number of conversations with her since you first met, which is where your friendship really kicks off. Aside from that sweetness, Daisy also has a rather foreboding obsessive side as well, stemming from her over-the-top cleanliness desires. From this, she had put together an imaginary friend known as "Moppina", a catalyst for her immense concerns regarding order and personal hygiene. Daisy has been known to mix well with the Peppy villagers, responding well to their natural energy and cheer. She also has a thing for Lazy villagers, admiring their laid-back lifestyle, something she apparently longs for and secretly strives towards. She is known to constantly switch between her shy and sensitive attitude, cheerful and joyous attitude, and shockingly obsessive attitude at random.

Daisy is a dominantly white beagle with an entirely creamy tan head. She has small, black, slanted slits for eyes, a big, black nose, and an even bigger mouth upturned into a cautiously optimistic smile. Her Kiddie Shirt noticeably clashes with her body's overall monotone colour scheme.

While not pertaining to the dog species whatsoever, Daisy is well known to be a popular name given to female pet dogs in real life. This is more than likely where this character's name stemmed from, minus any generics.
