Animal Crossing: City Folk(Player-useable)
|Available(ACWW)||2 days a week|
Distress is one of the many Emotions that were first introduced in Animal Crossing (GCN) and then later appeared in Animal Crossing: Wild World and Animal Crossing: City Folk, which in these later installments could then be used by both the Player and CPUs through Dr. Shrunk(ACWW) and both Dr. Shrunk/Master Frillard(ACCF).
When the Distress Emotion is activated, the user adopts a worried expression on their face and begins uneasily stomping in place. As they do so, many beads of sweat form and drip down their face. The sound effect that the sweat makes is the exact same one that's used for Sorrow.

Here's Dr. Shrunk's act from his stand-up routine entitled "Distress":
Thanks you! Thank you! And thanks to that special someone out there! I think you KNOW who you are! Dr. Shrunk is in the house!
Did I ever have a serious panic attack yesterday! I was getting off the bus when I realized that I left my notebook on the seat! Everything was OK, though. Because I just ran back in the bus and grabbed it. But WOW, did I panic for a second there! I know, you're probably wondering why I'd freak out over a silly notebook...But that notebook is where I've jotted down my joke ideas for YEARS! It's the most precious thing in the world to me! Ever since the bus incident, I've kept it in my jacket pocket at ALL TIMES, so I'll never lose it again! See? It's right here...What? Where is it? Where'd it go? Hey, this ISN'T funny!
The doctor is OUT!
