Egbert (Japanese name: しもやけ Shimoyake) is a Chicken Villager with a Lazy personality. He has appeared in many of the games of the Animal Crossing Series those games being: Animal Forest, Animal Crossing, Animal Forest e+, Animal Crossing: Wild World and Animal Crossing: City Folk.
Being as laid-back as he is, Egbert is very easy to make close friends with given you match his relaxed outlook on life. Food and rest is all this comedic villager has on his mind, along with the standard hobbies that your character can partake in(e.g.: fishing, bug-catching, etc.). The only difference is that while your reason because catching fish will be for Bells or displaying in your home, Egbert only performs this task on occasion for the sake of food. Due to their neutrality giving off a generally mellow vibe, this villager typically gets along with others of the Normal personality(this is mainly due to the fact that they act as guiding figures for him, such as a parent). His inactive tendencies frequently offend and confuse Jock villagers.
Egbert is a mainly yellow chicken with orange trim around the ends of his feathers and red hair. His Swell Shirt beautifully matches his body's colour scheme, which lends to the reason why this turned out to be his original choice of preset clothing.
