Feng Shui

Feng Shui (Pronounced, "fung-shway") is a decorating technique and philosophical idea originally created in China. The idea is that placing certain furniture in one's house can promote good energy flow in it. Likewise, Animal Crossing uses Feng Shui and (to my knowledge in only Wild World,) furniture is divided into 3 colors, which can give 1-3 points: red, yellow, and green. Placing yellow to the west in a room, green to the south, and red in the east, promotes Feng Shui. However, there are items in Wild World that are just lucky in general, and promote Feng Shui no matter what. These items include:

Big Festive Tree, Birthday Cake, Bug Trophy, Dracaena, Festive Tree, Fish Trophy, Flower Trophy, Garden Gnome, Ivory Piano, Jack-in-the-Box, Lefty Lucky Cat, Lovely Phone, Lucky Black Cat, Lucky Cat, Lucky Gold Cat, Music Box, Piggy Bank, Portrait, Racoon Figurine, Samurai Suit, Treasure Chest, Washer/Dryer

  • Please note that these items are only applicable to Animal Crossing: Wild World from my knowledge.
