Hide and Seek
Occasionally, a neighbor of yours will challenge you to a game of Hide and Seek. If you accept, you'll appear at the town hall and the neighbor that challenged + and 2 other neighbors that are currently outside will talk to you (and appoint you as the seeker. It's impossible to be a hider.) and explain the rules of the game. The rules are as follows:
-You must find all 3 neighbors in either 5, 10, or 15 minutes.
-The neighbors will NOT be hiding inside
-If you don't find all 3 in the specified time limit, you lose.
Then the game will start, and a timer will appear in the upper-left hand corner of the screen. Note: pressing the Home button on the wii remote will not stop the timer. it records the time the game starts, and uses the internal wii clock to determine how much time has passed since the start of the game.
Once the game starts, you have to find your neighbors as fast as possible. Neighbors only hide behind buildings, trees, and every once-in-a-while, an idiot will try to hide behind a moved house sign. About every 7 seconds, hiding neighbors will lean off to the side to see if you're coming. Note: they're blind. When you find a hiding neighbor, you MUST talk to them for the to be "found". There are 2 easy ways for finding hiders:
1. Walk behind things and press up on the D-pad, which will remove trees and buildings from view, but not neighbors. 2. Run along the back of all trees and buildings; like this:
X=where you should run T=tree 0=empty space
Because neighbors are usually here:
N=neighbor T=tree 0=empty space
When you find all 3 hiders, you will reappear at the town hall. Your competitors will congratulate you, and your challenger will give you a prize, usually a gyroid. If your pockets are full, the neighbor who challenged you will send your prize to you in a letter.
