Isabelle (Japanese name: しずえ Shizue) is your town's local secretary who serves as your assistant beginning after your inauguration as mayor. She can be found at her desk inside the Town Hall, which is located in front of yours facing the entrance. Isabelle assists the player by keeping a catalog of community projects from which you can select a new project to initiate. She will then follow the player to choose a location. She also co-hosts town events, reminds the player when an important date or person is present, and welcomes you or a guest into your town when you start up your game.

Isabelle is a yellow dog who resembles a Shih-Tzu. She has a pink headband in the middle of her hair and a quiff-like hairstyle. She wears a smart suit and carries a clipboard and pen around, following the player. She is always in high spirits.
