Hybrids and Wildflowers (ACWW)

In Animal Crossing: Wild World there are a variety of plants you can grow and collect varrying from wildflowers you can find randomly growing to hybrids you can grow yourself by creating gardens in your town.

Hybrids

One of the most rewarding parts of gardening is producing hybrid flowers. To produce hybrid flowers, you must buy flowers at Tom Nook’s shop and plant the flowers in clusters. For example, put all pansies together, all tulips together etc. in groups of 2-10. Offspring will grow in one of the surrounding squares.

Wildflowers

Dandelions- These are pretty common throughout spring, summer, and fall. They will eventually turn into Dandelion Puffs a few days after appearing in your town.

Dandelion Puffs- This is the finished product of a Dandelion. Place it in your hand to blow the petals away and make a wish.

Four-Leaf Clovers- These appear during spring, summer, and early fall. Every few days or so clovers will appear in your town. Regular clovers are considered weeds so be sure to pluck them. Four-leaf clovers will appear randomly throughout your town, but you can not tell the difference between a four-leaf clover and a regular clover. Make sure you pick all of them, but a four-leaf clover could mean some good luck! Place four in your house to get one block’s worth of feng-shui.

Jacob’s Ladders- These only appear in your town when it is perfect. To find out if your town is perfect, go to the Town Hall. Talk to Phyllis or Pelly on the civic center sign. Go to “The environment!” It is considered perfect if Pelly says “Wouldn’t it be wonderful if we could keep {town name here} this livable forever?” Jacob’s Ladders are tall bluish-green flowers that resemble blue bells, so they’re not hard to miss. They are thought to improve hybrid production, so place on of these next to the two flowers you want to cross-breed.

Rafflesia- This is the worst flower that you could ever see in your town. They are big, red, and usually have a swarm of flies circling over it. They make the town rating go down because Rafflasias only appear when there are a ton of weeds in your town. You can’t remove the flower until all the weeds in your town are gone.

Weeds- These appear in all of the four seasons. Usually two or three weeds pop up a day, but after rain there seems to be an increased population. Make sure you pull them up on a regular basis, or your town will be full of weeds in no time. Also don't time travel like Exp: Currently 2008 time travel to 2099 = LOADS OF WEEDS.
