Kiki is a black cat with a pudgy, semicircular nose. Her triangular ears are perked up, and the inner colouration is pink. Her mouth is also the same colour. Kiki has large, round, yellow eyes with large pupils. When she walks around he tail sometimes flicks around.

Like other normal type of villagers Kiki will always be shy, and caring towards other animals. She'll get up at 5:00AM every morning, which is a common behaviour from normal villagers. But she typically returns to her house at mid-day, and might go back outside later on. Since her personality is normal, she is compatible with mostly every villager, although, she might get upsetted by cranky villagers. She may ask the player to a task for her, such as delivering a letter or a package and will compliment the player on how fast it took them to deliver it despite if it did take a long time or not. She often reads out quizes that she has read in a magazine and talks about recipes that she has tried or has found.
Kiki enjoys all of the common hobbies, such as fishing and bug hunting. She'll take part in competitions, where she is very eager to win though, she wouldn't behave too excited about the competition like peppy villagers or get too competitive like jock villagers. Due to her friendly nature, Kiki is very easy to befriend with. When the player talks her a lot she'll call them her ""the best friend ever." Eventually after that she'll give them her pic. Like many other normal villagers, Kiki is friends with Moppina, the unseen character who she will mention. She won't have much success talking about Moppina to snooty villagers but peppy villagers she a keen interest.

The name Kiki could be a reference to the anime movie, Kiki's Delivery Service, a movie about Kiki, a young witch-in-training, who owns a black cat.
