The Meteor Shower is an event that happens in the games Animal Crossing and Animal Crossing: City Folk. The Meteor Shower is replaced with Shooting Stars in the game Animal Crossing: Wild World.
The events starts at 7pm and lasts throughout the night. The player is also given a letter from Wishy the Star;
Earthbound <town name>,
I heard a special someone made a wish one night...
It's my job to make that wish come true... ☆
This letter is only given when the player presses the A button when they see a shooting star. The letter will also contain a spotlight furniture item.
