Bug-Catching Contest
This is a simple, yet fun and competitive game to play with friends and family members.
Rules: Set a time limit for each person to catch bugs. For example, 1 hour. Make sure that the opponent doesn't have a stash of bugs hidden somewhere. You are not allowed to put extra bugs in letters for more space, only the amount of space in the main start page. When each opponent has had his/her turn catching, the person goes to Nook's and sees how much he'd pay for the whole lot of bugs. (To see the whole price without having to choose each one, just press X on each one) The person with the highest price wins. And remember, you can add to the list of rules or get rid of some of these rules suggested. Also, when Animal Crossing DS comes out, the Wi-fi capabilities will make this game even more fun! Another idea is to simply have small contests with other people. Weather online or offline, try and see who can capture more than the other person. Happy catching!
 Butterfly Hunting
Since alot of different butterflies come out in the spring, then this game will be alot of fun. As in a lot of other events, you and a friend compete to see who can catch the most butterfiles in a certain time limit, but this contest is different. You and your friend will battle over a period of a week, and will see who can catch the most different butterflies. That means that after a weeks period is over, then you two will compare the different species of butterflies you caught and then tally them up. Only one person can win, so say if you caught 30 different butterflies, but only 4 different species, but your friend caught only 15 butterflies, but he has 10 different species then he wins the competition. Its simple and very fun.
 Fishing Contest
This has the exact same rules as the Bug-catching contest, except with fish. Just to re-iterate, here are the rules:
Rules: Set a time limit for each person to catch fish. For example, 1 hour. Make sure the opponent doesn't have a stash of fish hidden somewhere. You are not allowed to put extra fish in letters for more space, only the amount of space in the main start page. When each opponent has had his/her turn fishing, the person goes to Nook's to see how much he'd pay for the whole lot of fish. (To see the whole price without having to choose each one, just press X on each one) The person with the highest price wins. And remember, you can add to the list of rules or get rid of some of these rules suggested. Also, when Animal Crossing DS comes out, the Wi-fi capabilities will make this game even more fun! Happy fishing!
Golf Rules: 1) Find a basketball or soccer ball lying on the ground around your town. 2) Dig a hole somewhere near the square you found it in. 3) Take turns running into the ball to try to get it into the hole. Each hit on the ball counts a stroke. You can try it at Par 2-5 usually on how far the ball is located from the hole. Thank you to luigi009 for providing this information
 Jellyfish Raid
This is fun, around the time period of the second half of August you can catch jellyfish out in the ocean. (not in any rivers) They are out all day, so get a friend and lets have some competition. You two have to decide who will go first, after you figure that out then grab any fishing pole and lets go. See how many fish you can catch within 5 minutes. Then after you catch all you can, let your friend go, and so on. Rules/Items needed
The season to be August
Another person to live in your town Well that is it, have fun.
 Money Maker
Money Maker Rules: In order to play the game money maker, you must follow these steps: 1) First, have two or more players on one saved town data. 2) Each player has five minutes(or you can set a designated time limit yourself) to go around and try to make as much money as possible. This could be off finding the money rock, shaking trees, and finding items to sell. Note: You cannot go inside your own home and sell your own items. 3) Switch to another player after the time limit for his/her turn to go and earn as much money as possible. 4) After all of the players have exceeded their time limits, each log on and go too Tom Nook to sell their what they collected and add it to any money they found. 5) Talley up how much each player finished with, the winner achieves all of the other player's bells. To give them to the winner, they simply drop the money by his/her house for the winner to pick up when he/she gets gets on. Thank you to luigi009 for providing this information.
 Money-Rock Finder
In this competition you and a friend have to run throughout your town and see how long it takes you to find the special money rock. On the first day you or your friend will start it off, grab a clock of some sort and time how long it takes you to find the money rock in your town. Save that time, then on the next day let your friend go. See how long it takes him. Whoever wins, gets all the money from the rocks they hit. This competition can be done all year long, so have fun
 Nooks Lottery Game
Players: Two-Four Rules: 1) Either buy a whole bunch of items from one month, or use a universal code to get up to fifteen tickets for one month. Make sure each player has fifteen tickets. 2) Advance time until the lottery for that month. Go to Tom Nook's shop and play the lottery. 3) Take Turns until you win all of the prizes or you run out of tickets. If someone wins first prize, then win. Second prize equals second place. Third prize equals third place. Thank you to luigi009 for donating this information.
This is a very fun thing to do, but it is kind of difficult. Go around your town from the time period of December 25th to mid Feburary and look for round snowballs. Once you find one start to kick it all around your town until your character can grab onto it. Then walk around town rolling it up until you get it to a body size. Then place it somewhere safe, like near a tree away from all bodies of water. Go and look for one last snowball. Once you find it roll it up so that it is about half the size of the first one. Then place it onto the other snowball. The snowman will then come to life! If you made him perfect then he will give you a piece of secret snowman furniture. If you did it wrong then you get nothing, but your snowman will sit in your town for days no matter what the result is. You can also push over your snowman but that is mean.
 Treasure Hunt
This is a very fun game, all you have to do is challenge one human character in your town such as a family member. Then you both have to agree on the rules. The rules I go by are just basic things such as no looking while the other character is burying treasure. After that have that family member/friend leave the room. Then run around your town and bury the item you wish for them to find. Once you are done give them a hint by putting it up on the town message board, or write them a letter. After you are done log off your character then play as theirs. Let that person back into the room and let them read the hint. After that let them go and search for the treasure. (You can also apply a time limit for them to find an item by) If they find the item within the time limit, or find the item without a time limit let them keep the item. So you can do this back and fourth. Have fun.
