Nana made her first appearance in Animal Crossing: Wild World, however she could only be obtained by attending a Nintendo Event or by hacking. However in Animal Crossing: City Folk she became a regular neighbour. She is a pink monkey with tan cheeks.
Nana has a normal personality, this makes her a very caring and sweet neighbour to have in your town. She will continue to be nice to you even if you are mean towards her. Nana often asks the player for favors and will get upset if you decline, however she will be sorry that she "put you on the spot".
Nana is a pink monkey with a tan-coloured face, hands, and feet. She has medium-sized purple ears, round, black eyes, a small nose, and a large mouth. The top of her head ends in a tip of hair and her white-and-pink polka dot shirt matches the consistent natural pink/tan colour scheme of her body throughout.
Nana's house has a Fruity Theme however it also contains a lot of other pieces. The house is filled with warm colors. She has the following furnishings in her house:
 Name Meaning
Nana's name has two obvious meanings. First, it could be the villagers making a play on the word "banana". Secondly, it is the name of a character in the Nintendo game "Ice Climber", who is a girl wearing a pink Eskimo parka who quite similarly looks a bit like Nana, with the pink skin and pale fur.
- Nana's catchphrase is "po po", which is the other name of the character in the game Ice Climber. Thus, we can confirm that Nana and her name are supposed to represent Nana from Ice Climbers.
