Pascal (Japanese name: ラコスケ, Rakosuke) is a red Sea otter whose speeches resemble something of a hippy. He loves his seashells!
Pascal is a groovy sea otter, that's for sure. His speeches resemble something of a hippy. He loves his seashells, because in every Animal Crossing game he requires you to hand him a scallop to get a special reward, even if it is a little different each time! he is very laid back and acts like he has all of the time in the world. After he is done telling you one of his deep thoughts he leaps in to the sea.
Pascal wears blue overalls and a white knitted beanie cap. His overalls have two buttons where they snap together. Around his neck is, no surprise, a scallop necklace. He holds in his hand a scallop, his greatest love.
Pascal will come on a random day (Monday - Friday) and will stay in your town between 6:00am - 12:00AM. You can locate him by looking for him near one of your bridges. If you listen to one of his crazy speeches, he might just be groovy enough to give you a piece of the Pirate Set furniture!
How to get the scallop (WW)
This is only available to do in Animal Crossing: Wild World. Pascal can also give you a picture of himself or the Golden Axe, all you have to do is trade Tortimer a massage chair for the scallop, and give it to Pascal for either his picture or the Golden Axe.
In Animal Crossing: City Folk, Pascal comes Monday - Friday and stays from 6:00am - 12:00am again. He will be on one of your bridges or near the sea. But this time, make sure that you have a scallop in your pocket before you talk to him. You can find a scallop resting on the beach this time. After listening to his crazy speeches, he will ask you to hook him up with a scallop if you have one. If you accept and give it to him, you will get a piece of the Pirate Set furniture.
 Pascal's Furniture
The Pirate Set, which you can only get from Pascal, is worth a high Feng Shui value. The Happy Room Academy will give you a moderately high score for each piece, and even more for the entire set. The set includes many items that make you feel like you are out at sea.
