Peggy (Japanese name: ちえり, Chieri) is a Peppy pig villager who first made her appearance in the Japanese-only Animal Crossing expansion known as Animal Forest e+, and then later on in the exclusive Wii release: Animal Crossing: City Folk.
With a bubbly attitude and full-out optimistic outlook on life, Peggy is quite respectably as Peppy as they come! With this, it's a guarantee that she will make friends with your Player before your first words are even exchanged. Due to this sparkling spirit and energetic role in the game, she clicks well with the Lazy and Normal villagers due to their overall level and tolerant personalities. As other Peppy villagers would go without saying, Peggy also mixes well with the jock crowd, complimenting their wild fitness energy fiercely with that of her own.
Peggy has large blue eyes and ears paired with a large pink nose and rosy pink cheeks at the end of a strong, dimpled smile. Her face, as well as the rest of her body, is a noticably brighter pink(typical to that of stereotypical pigs depicted in real life). A healthy head of red-coloured hair adorns the top of her head and she, of course, has a large, curly tail. Her Blue Stripe Shirt compliments her body's natural colour scheme as well.
 Name Meaning
Simply enough, Peggy could be a play on the term "piggy", a cutesy nickname for that of the pig animal species.
