This is what your player says when you catch a Piranha:
[edit] Animal Crossing
"I caught a piranha! Which river is this, anyway? I'm glad I didn't take a dip!"
[edit] Animal Forest e+
"ピラニアが 釣れた! ・・・この川 向川なの? 川ニスれな<って よかったあ!!"
[edit] Animal Crossing: Wild World

[edit] Menu
This is what the meny will say when you catch the Piranha:
[edit] Animal Crossing: Wild World
They eat small fish by tearing off pieces and swallowing them whole. Vicious!
[edit] Animal Crossing: City Folk
A shy species, these prefer to stay in groups. They're popular at aquariums.
[edit] Museum
This is what Blathers will say when you donate this fish:
[edit] Animal Crossing
"Dear me! My mind boggles! I had no inkling that we had such frightfully dangerous fish in these waters! I suppose that would indicate they're not as lethal as they are made out to be... Or are they trying to lull us? Have no fear! We'll look after your sharp-toothed friend. For everyone's sake!"
[edit] Animal Crossing: Wild World
"Piranha are rather bony. I can't say I've heard good things about their flavor. Some restaurants do serve them, of course, but as a tourist attraction, eh wot? These things probably sit about discussing OUR flavor, you know."
[edit] Animal Crossing: City Folk
"Most people see piranhas as savage fish that enjoy tearing prey apart with thir teeth... However, they're actually quite timid, wot wot? They're often treated like bad guys due to their scary faces. I hope we haven't hurt their feelings..."
[edit] Trivia
- Despite their overall vicious appearance, the Pirahna is actually one of the more resevered species and fish, commonly traveling in a school.
[edit] Real Life
The Piranha is native to the River Amazon and considered quite a dangerous breed of fish, with it's diet mainly consisting of smaller fish which they typically tear apart with their jaws similar to that of a Shark.
[edit] Appearance
The Piranha is noticably small at first glance, with a red underbelly and yellow/green colour scheme making up the remainder of it's body. It's dorsal and tail fins are purplish blue.
