Punchy (Japanese name: ビンタ, Binta) is a Lazy, Cat Villager with quite a passive attitude who has made it into Animal Crossing (GCN), Animal Crossing: Wild World, and Animal Crossing: City Folk. And his first was in Animal Forest.
Punchy is one of the many preferred residents to make friends with right off the bat, thanks to his Lazy, calming attitude making him easy to get along with. His preferences consist mainly of eating his favourite foods and just taking it easy in nearly any situation, followed by just about everything else. He participates in the main hobbies that every resident partakes in for the purpose of fueling his loves in life, fishing for the sake of some tasty aquatic food and bug-catching for the relazing simplicity. Even though he gets along with just about everyone else, he has been known to bewilder and sometimes frustrate Jock villagers, putting their dedicated lives of fitness and sports into question.
Punchy is a black and white cat carrying the most mellow facial expression in the history of Animal Crossing. The top of his head and his large, pink ears are capped with black while the rest of his head is solid white. He has large, sleepy-looking yellow eyes cut off halfway with soft purple eyelids. He has six big whiskers near the bottom of his face sandwiching in a very laid-back grin.
 Name Meaning
Oddly enough, this resident's name comes from his tendency to playfully fight with other residents through playful shoves and swats. The fact that this puts his Lazy personality and mellow lifestyle into question is even more bewildering.
