Purrl (Japanese name: たま, Tama) is a Snooty, Cat Villager who has made an individual appearance in Animal Forest e+, Animal Crossing (GCN), Animal Crossing: Wild World, and Animal Crossing: City Folk.

[edit] Personality

Purrl is an individual who loves to strut her stuff, doing her best to show off the latest fashions that pertain to her Snooty attitude. She constantly builds upon her vocabulary in order to sound high-class, but usually ends up trying too hard and embarrasses herself. Unfortunately, as a result of these traits, Purrl commonly rubs off on others as pompous and pretentious despite her deceiving, Peppy-like outer appearance. Unlike most Snooty Villagers, Purrl is easily one of the quickest to make friends with the Player while still spreading mean little rumours about her neighbours here and there. While most other Villagers commonly partake in the usual hobbies of Fishing, Bug-Catching, and Fossil-Hunting, this classy little cat puts away all of her spare time to collecting rare sets of expensive clothes and stylish seasonal furniture for her home. If there's any peers which rub Purrl the wrong way, it's the uninspired and unappealing Lazy residents!

[edit] Appearance

Purrl is a solid white cat with a large, dark-brown patch overtop of her right eye and a large, light-brown patch overtop of her left cheek. She has blue ears, long eyelashes, and a modest little smile on her face. Her tail is coloured light-brown while her legs are coloured dark-brown.

[edit] Name Meaning

The name "Purrl", in the way that it is spelled, is meant to mock the way cats purr. This is done by modifying the traditional way to spell this name: "Pearl".
