Animal Crossing: City Folk
Animal Crossing: New Leaf
|Original Shirt||Lavender Robe|
Rizzo is a Cranky Mouse Villager with a noticably odd fashion sense who made his debut in Animal Crossing, skipped out on Animal Crossing: Wild World, but returned in time for Animal Crossing: City Folk and Animal Crossing: New Leaf.
Rizzo's Cranky personality makes him feel entitled to appear fully mature and refined in conversation even when it isn't necessary, which can accidentally make him seem somewhat diabolical in contrast. After enough getting used to, he eventually reaches a level ground with your Player and begins connecting as only a friend would. This then opens up his hidden lonely side, whereas he admits he has no other friends other than you. Rizzo commonly finds inner peace through the simple enjoyment of the hobbies of fishing, bug-catching, and fossil-collecting, enjoying it's tranquil nature. The bubbly energy that Peppy villagers commonly display regularly upsets him, which brings about his bad habit of saying bad things about them behind their back. The refinement of Snooty villagers and reserved attitude of Normal villagers mix well with Rizzo. However, his usual rudeness and condescending ways will occasionally offend Normal villagers.
Rizzo could possibly carry the most head-turning appearance in all of Animal Crossing to date, with a purple bandana wrapped around the top of his head and under his nose, huge pink ears, and a typically Peppy facial expression in the eyes. Aside from that, his entire body is grey and his Lavender Robe matches the bandana nicely.
 Name Meaning
Rizzo is more than likely a reference to Rizzo the Rat, a comedic Muppet character from the popular children's series, The Muppet Show.
