How to Catch
This bug is fairly easy to catch, but the difficult part is finding it without disturbing it and making it fly away. Look for a bug on the tree's trunk. Once you find it, get a few space way from it and then turn around to face it. Get out your net. Now, run forward and when you are close enough, swing your net and hope for the best.
Player
This is what you player says when you catch a Robust Cicada:

Museum
If you donate this bug to the Museum, Blathers will say this:
Animal Crossing: City Folk
"Fittingly enough, the robust cicada can issue a robust, loud chirp...and it does so quite often. I've heard this beastie's impertinent cry so often that I've grown rather good at imitating it. Listen! Chiiirp! CHIIIRP! CHIIir..."
Trivia
- The Walker Cicada is about 60 millimeters long.
- Robust Cicadas will flap away if you scare them by getting too close.
Real Life
The Robust Cicada is a part of the Cicada family. Robust Cicadas are often associated with the fact that they may harm you, but in fact, they are quite harmless to humans. They have big wings and big beady eyes. They feed mainly on other bugs and are a slightly lighter color than the Walker Cicada.
