Rowan is a jock villager who originally appeared as a curmudgeon-like islander in Animal Crossing and then sharply transitioned to a jock villager in the following installments of Animal Crossing: Wild World and Animal Crossing: City Folk.
Rowan is a tiger with the common orange and white pattern decorated with black stripes. He has a fairly big snout with comparably small eyes located at the top of his head. You will find him wearing a Blue Dot Shirt after he moves into your Town whereas he sported the Blue Aloha Shirt in Animal Crossing in accordance with his islander personality. As a side effect of previously showing up as an island-restricted resident in the original, his overall cranky personality followed him into further installments of this game despite his preset jock personality. Due to this, he gets along quite well with snooty and generally more mature villagers and lacks the obvious recklessness that most jock villagers are stuck with. He could also be considered something of a lone wolf, avoiding regular interaction with other residents and commonly befriending only the player and no one else.
As an islander, Rowan is allergic to Pears and loves Apples. If you happened to bring him Apples, the chance that he would drop money bags for you would be greater. But if you brought him Pears, the chances would be significantly less.
