Scoot (Japanese name: マモル, Mamoru) is a Jock, Duck Villager who made his first appearance in Animal Forest e+ and later appeared in Animal Crossing (GCN) and Animal Crossing: City Folk. He never made it into Animal Crossing: Wild World.

Scoot, as a hobbyist, is 95% and 5% anything else! He lives through basically anything that qualifies as a sport so long as competitive physical activity is involved. He isn't widely known for being the sharpest tool in the shed as a result, but his great dedication to constant exercise and balanced eating is commonly looked up to by fellow neighbours. Scoot is also somewhat of a prankster, unexpectedly displaying an air of Peppy-ness in him, constantly pulling pranks on other Villagers such as laying a plethora of Pitfall Seeds around Town and sticking out his leg to purposely trip others as they walk by.

Scoot is a seafoam-green coloured duck with large, narrowed eyes, white-coloured cheeks, and a large, orange bill. He wears a white, oddly-shaped hockey helmet on his head which humorously takes on the appearance of a pair of underwear when seen at a distance. No matter the situation, Scoot always manages to carry a permanent mischievous expression on his face.

The name "Scoot" could refer to this Villager's overly-hyper attitude and the fact that he can barely sit still, even when he's forced to.
