The squid is an aquatic creature of the order Teuthida and there are around 300 species. These cephalopods sizes can vary sizes. The common squid is usually around 30 to 45 cm (12 to 18 in) long, and the giant squid is at least 18 m (60 ft) long. They are known to realese a brown-black ink.
