"Aristide Bruant" is a painting by french artist Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec in 1892. Not much is known about the painting, but what is known is that a performer by the name of Louis Armand Aristide Bruant began singing and acting on stage and eventually became friends with Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec. Lautrec might have painted this as a promotional picture for his friend.
