  • The Stringfish is so big that it's shadow size is almost as big as the Arapaima.
  • The Stringfish is one of the four fishes that sell for 15,000 Bells, along with the Coelacanth, Dorado, and the Shark.
  • It is the same length of the Ocean Sunfish.

The Stringfish is a species of fish that is related to salmon This fish is one of the oldest salmon species and it generally hangs out in the middle and lower portions of rivers and lakes. Most Stringfish are found in the Northwest Pacific regions near islands. The Stringfish is endangered. It's population number has been dwindling and more than 50% of their species has died.
