In Animal Crossing: City Folk every day is something special and when you walk out of your house first thing in the morning you will find different types of weather and other special effects in the sky.

Weather is the usual type of effect you will see in the sky and also effects other things such as available fish and available characters. Most of the weather effects are available all year, but some you must wait for a certain time of day or even time of year.

In the game you may also experience one of three types of special effects in the sky. Unlike weather, these have more specific times and also more noticeable effcts.
