The White Turnip can be bought from Joan who is in the player's town during Sunday 6am-12noon. There are many glitches in the game that can be used to keep the Turnips in pristine condition for selling onto Tom Nook for a profit.

[edit] Buying

Joan sells White Turnips along with Red Turnips on a Sunday morning. She will usually offer the Turnips for around 90-100 Bells. They are sold in bunches of ten.

[edit] Selling

The price for the White Turnip varies, it can be as low as 30 Bells up to 300 Bells. The player can sell the White Turnips to Tom Nook in his store. Prices tend to be at their peak around Wednesday and Thursday since they are the two days that are in the middle of the week. Tom Nook will buy the White Turnips at two different prices in a day and will only buy them Monday - Saturday.

[edit] Spoiling

A Spoilt White Turnip

A White Turnip can be spoiled as well as a Red Turnip. If the Turnip is left of the floor for too long, it will spoil and attract Ants and Flies. Another way a Turnip can be spoiled is if the player Time Travels. Once the player travels in forward time, the turnip will spoil in the inventory, Time Travelling also can affect Joan's stock. If the player chooses to do this, Joan will sell out of White and Red Turnips for a week or so, this acts as a punishment for time travelling as well as Phineas and his prizes.

A way of preventing White Turnip spoiling is to put all turnips on a table in the player's house. This glitch will keep the turnips fresh and make them re-sellable to Tom Nook.
