[edit] Players

This is what your player says when you catch a Carp:

"I caught a carp! Ouch! I hurt my wrist! It might be CARPal-tunnel!"

[edit] Animal Crossing: Wild World

"I caught a carp! Carpe carp!"

[edit] Animal Crossing: City Folk

"I caught a carp! Pretty sharp!"

[edit] Menu

This is what the menu will say when you catch the Carp:

[edit] Animal Crossing: Wild World

They feed by sucking the river's bottom.

[edit] Animal Crossing: City Folk

Preferring murky water, these suck mud from the bottom with their food

[edit] Museum

This is what Blathers will say when you donate this fish:

[edit] Animal Crossing: Wild World

I do believe many people enjoy this fish raw at sushi restaurants... I understand it makes a rather tasty addition to soups and chowders, wot!"

[edit] Animal Crossing: City Folk

"...Hoo, tell me, have you ever had occasion to see the teeth of a carp? They're positioned far back in the mouth and can bite through seashells! I daresay you shouldn't go sticking your finger into a carp's mouth, wot? That is a mighty chomp!"

[edit] Trivia

  • One of a few fish that can be caught all year long and all day long.

[edit] Real Life
