Savannah (Japanese name: サバンナ, Saban'na) is a Normal Zebra villager who has made an appearance in Animal Crossing, Animal Crossing: Wild World, and Animal Crossing: City Folk. She is one of the few animal species featured in the Animal Crossing series who is related to the Horse.
Savannah's Normal personality really levels out her overall emotions and inadvertantly causes her to act very hospitable and caring towards the Player after getting well aquainted, making her seem like something of a stand-in mother figure. Due to her somewhat neutral attitude, few things upset Savannah in comparison to the overly-sensitive Peppy and insecure Snooty residents. Despite this, the sour attitudes of Cranky villagers and boisterous attitudes of Jock villagers can sometimes set her off ease.
As one of the only Zebra characters in the Animal Crossing franchise so far, Savannah takes on the only colours that this breed of animal possibly could: black and white. To go into further detail, her body is actually white which is decorated with black stripes all over her face. She has a dark grey snout and stringy, light brown hair on top of her head.
 Name Meaning
"Savannah" is a direct reference to the natural habitat of the Zebra, which dwell on the natural grassland ecosystem known by the exact same name.
