Wendell is a walrus that makes an appearance in all of the games in the Animal Crossing Series.
Wendell is a good guy on the inside. Although he may seem a little greedy when he first asks you to find him some food, he offers you a very fair exchange afterward. After Wendell has been fed well, he goes back to his normal cheery self. He is actually quite grateful, giving you gracious "thank yous" after you feed him and talk to him.
Wendell has two tusks that come out from under his mouth and his eyes are always closed when you see him visiting you. He has on a brown satchel (probably where he keeps his patterns) and a yellow satchel that compliments his blue skin. He also carries a book and an umbrella in case the weather takes a turn for the worse.
Wendell is walrus who sells wallpapers. He is a wandering artist who will come to your town on a random day from Monday - Friday and between the hours of 6:00am - 12:00am. Wendell will ask you to feed him something. In this game, you can only feed him fish. The fish that you decide to feed him will reward you with a free wallpaper and a very satisfied walrus. Wendell's wallpapers are associated with Saharah's flooring, so if you want to get the matching floor, you must talk to Saharah.
This time, Wendell is still a wandering artist, but instead of handing out wallpapers he is now handing out his patterns and they're pretty good! However, things never change. He still comes on a random day from Monday to Friday from 6:00am 'til 12:00am. Wendell still has an appetite as big as ever. Feed him fish, fruits, turnips, or acorns in order to get a free pattern. Check Wendell's patterns for a closer look at the patterns he gives out.
In Animal Crossing: City Folk, Wendell is still the same old wandering artist with a humongous appetite. He comes on the same schedule that has always been set for him. However, and this is the change that has pleased players the most so far, Wendell gives out way more patterns in this game than any other Animal Crossing game! And here's another good thing - they are better than ever! To see these fabulous patterns, check out Wendell's patterns.
